You must be at least 18 years of age in order to become a Participant.

These Interview Terms are effective upon scheduling a video call (e.g. via Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Skype or similar) via online scheduling platforms (e.g. Calendly or similar) or through email that was sent to you by CAAE, and govern the Participant’s engagement in an Interview.

The Participant acknowledges that CAAE needs to gather and process the following personal data from them in order for the Participant to take part in any Interview: first name, surname, e-mail address and video recording of you and your voice. Your personal data will only be processed for the purposes of carrying out the Interview, the assessment of the Interview and sending of Reward for undertaking the Interview, if applicable. The personal data you provide to CAAE will be processed in accordance with the GDPR and will not be shared with any third parties. The personal data will be deleted no later than one month after the end of the research study. CAAE follows the Statement of Ethics provided by the American Anthropological Association and the ethical guidelines provided by the National Association of the Practice of Anthropology in all research activities.

The Participant acknowledges that participation in the Interview is voluntary. The Participant has the right to withdraw from participating in the Interview at any moment without any explanation and CAAE will delete all the Participant’s personal data immediately.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Tartu County.
